God is Big!


Let us see some bible stories where the Bible shows that God is BIG,  like the story of David and Goliath, let me tell you the story, David had 7 brothers, and he was a shepherd when a lion or a bear came to eat his sheep he didn’t just get scared and run away, but he took his sling and a stone and killed the lion or bear. One day his brothers went to battle against the Philistines they had a massive giant named Goliath before they saw him they made a deal 1 man of your camp will fight 1 man in the Philistines' camp ok said the king, King Saul then the giant Goliath came,  and the looser’s people become the winner's slave! Goliath kept taunting them for 40 days.

 David came to the campsite to give his brothers some food, then he heard Goliath cursing God, then David saw some men standing by him, and asked them, “Who will fight Goliath And redeem Israel!” they told him the king's reward, then Eliab, the oldest of David’s brothers, came and got angry at David. David said what did I do wrong?" then David was called by the king! After David convinced the king he said, “Then wear my armour” but it was too big for him, so David went to the stream and got 5 smooth stones then he went to Goliath, and Goliath's shield bearer came closer to David, and saw a glowing and handsome boy, then Goliath said “am I a dog that you come to me with sticks?” then he cursed David with his gods, “Come here,” he said, and I will feed your flesh to the birds and wild animals.

David said “You come at me with sword and javelin, but I come at you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defined this very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistines to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” The Philistines came close to attack him, and David ran fast to the battle line and took a stone from his bag he slung it and it hit the giant’s forehead. The stone sunk into his forehead, and he fell face down to the ground. 

David ran to Goliath took Goliath's Sword out of his sheath and cut his head off After he killed him, then the Philistines seeing their hero dead ran, and Israel and Judah shouted and ran after them. Then David kept Goliath's head in Jerusalem, and Goliath's armour in his own tent. Saul [the king] saw this and asked the commander, Abner “Who is that young man?” Abner said “As sure as the lord lives I do not know” “Then Saul asked David who are you?” “He said I am David, son of Jesse. So in that story, we saw God is bigger than a giant!
