God is a Jealous God


God is a jealous god, zeal in Hebrew is קנאה and jealousy is the same in English but a little different in Hebrew! So God has zeal for us, it’s not like God doesn't have something you have, God owns everything which means God will stop at nothing to save you. But envy in Hebrew is called קנאות.
God’s zeal for us

When a shepherd loses his sheep a good shepherd will go to find it no matter what the shepherd will go looking for his sheep.

God’s loving zeal

With all the bad things we do God must have lots of love for us because a normal man would burst out with anger at everyone because of all the sins we did. sheep don’t do much, they eat grass and not much else, and they have 2 stomachs after they eat some grass they send it to the first stomach then they throw it back into their mouth, then they chew it again this is called chewing the cud. So other than that sheep are hard to take care of because you have to do everything for them. But God has so much love, grace, and mercy for us that he took care of us and sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

God loves us so much that he died on the cross for our sins but rose from the dead in three days.
 We can’t take care of ourselves like sheep, but God loves us and shows us grace.
