God is YOUR father 






 Now when we think of God we should not think that God is only love or God is only justice, God can be a lot of things at the same time.


God is like a father, a father has a lot of love for his children even when they do wrong because the parent knows that the child is Just a child, there are many more ways that God is like a father, just like Psalm 103 8-18


Psalm 103:8-14

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us our sins or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgression from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, and he remembers that we are dust.


The father does get angry but it is controlled by his love for the child, God does get angry but it is controlled by his love, but then you might ask “What is the use of that anger” It’s like Proverbs 22:15 says

Proverbs 22:15

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

 God does not always get angry, but God is slow to anger. because he knows we are dust, because God made us from dust, just like the father knows the child is just a child, and God has compassion for us like a father, God will always love us, a good father always loves the son and nothing can change that, and God is very very very good! So God is our father. Our Father is the first word in the prayer Jesus told us to pray, so God is our Father, but what about the wicked? 

Psalm 103:15-16

The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.

As for the wicked, their own home remembers them no more!  but then what will happen to the righteous?


Psalm 8:17-18

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.


God loves those who fear him, so fear [respect] God and keep his commandments, so don’t think “God is always loving so I can do whatever I want, no, just because God is loving it does not mean you can do whatever you want, what you should do is obey God’s commandments and respect God. so what you should do is keep God’s commandments and fear [respect] God, and you will be blessed

Summary time

God is our father. and God is not only love or justice God can be two things at the same time. God does get angry but it is controlled by his love for us. And we learned that the wicked’s home will not remember them. And that those who keep God’s commandments and fear [respect] God will be blessed. So what you should do is keep God’s commandments and fear [respect] God, so, in summary, God is your righteous judging loving father.
