            God is With you!





What does it mean when I say “God is with you”

 

To understand what I mean by God is with you we need to understand what the Hebrew word for with states, the first letter of the Hebrew word is ayin, ayin means eye, and eye stands for watchfulness. so, remember that God is always watching you.

 

The second Hebrew letter for the Hebrew for with is mem, and it can mean a lot of things like King or Water. so, when I say God is with you, I mean the King of the world is with you and is watching you.

 

God is with you in the valley

 

God is with you no matter what happens, psalm 23 says God will be with us in the valley, but what is a valley? A valley is a slope-like place in between two mountains, but in the Judean wilderness, there are a lot of valleys. And the paths of those valleys aren't always safe, food might not be there,

or water, or maybe predators might be there.

 

But God is with us in the valley, and God will lead you in good paths for his name’s sake.

 So, you are not alone because God is with you.


God is always with you

Now you might think "Is God always with me?" yes!

Deuteronomy 31:6 talks about it. Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

So, God will always be with you. Because he said so.

People can fade but God is like a rock, always firm, and will never let us his children go.

If God is with us who can stand against us?

If the god who made the world! who made you, is with you! Then Who can stand against you? Like Romans 8:31 says, what, then, shall we say in response to these

things? If God is for us, who can be against us?


Examples of how God is with you in the bible

Gideon a timid Israelite and had no training to be a soldier, but when God told him to be a warrior, he trusted in God to battle the Midianites, and was he alone? No! God was with him because God said

so.

 

King Nebuchadnezzar II, ordered all the people to bow down to his golden statue and worship him and him alone. Shadrach Meshach and Abednego disobeyed the king and worshiped only the one true God and not the king, and the king heated the furnace 7 times! and when they were thrown into the furnace God was with them in the Fire and they were not harmed.


King Darius was tricked by the evil advisers into throwing his friend Daniel into the lion's den! because Daniel only worshiped the one true God, and not the King. God was with him in the lion's den and the lions did not harm him.


Summary time

God is with you no matter what, and when God is with you no one can stand against you. And that God will be with you like he was with Daniel or Shadrach Meshach and Abednego and as he was with Gideon.


Psalm 91 vs 15 & 16 says, He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. This is our promise from God.


So, be not afraid God will always be with you.
