Grace -The Gift That Changes Everything

Image
Grace The Gift That Changes Everything In a world that often demands perfection, performance, and payback, the message of grace shines like a warm light on a cold day. It’s a word that gets tossed around in church services and Bible studies, but what does it actually mean? And more importantly—why does it matter? To put it simply, grace is unmerited favor . It's love you can't earn, kindness you don't deserve, and forgiveness that surprises you. It's not just a theological idea or a churchy term; it's the heartbeat of the Christian faith, and it has the power to reshape how we live, how we love, and how we see ourselves and others. A Snowman’s Unexpected Response Let’s begin with a story—a simple one that even a child can understand, yet profound enough to challenge our daily reactions. It was a snowy afternoon when a group of boys decided to have some fun. They spotted a snowman standing tall in someone’s yard—carefully built, peaceful, and minding his own b...

Bible ABCs: Discovering Who God Is from A to Z

Image
Bible ABC's   Discovering Who God Is from A to Z Introduction Children are naturally curious. They ask big questions about the world, about themselves, and about God. What better way to introduce them to the wonder of who God is than through a simple and memorable tool—the alphabet! "Bible ABCs" is a delightful way to teach children the attributes of God while anchoring each one in Scripture. A - God is Almighty “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” — Jeremiah 32:17 God is all-powerful. From parting the Red Sea to raising Jesus from the dead, He shows us that nothing is impossible for Him. B - God is Big “Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.” — Psalm 147:5 God created the universe. He’s so big that the heavens cannot contain Him—and yet He lives in our hearts. C - God is Creative “In the beginning God created the heavens and ...

When Almost Obedient Is Still Disobedient The Cost of Compromise

Image
When Almost Obedient Is Still Disobedient  The Cost of Compromise “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.” – 1 Samuel 15:22 (NIV) Obedience is not a suggestion in the kingdom of God—it’s a divine requirement. The Bible makes this abundantly clear through countless narratives that either exalt full submission to God or expose the cost of compromise. One of the most telling illustrations of this truth is found in the opening verses of the book of Judges. Judges 1:1–7 – A Strong Start, a Subtle Slip After Joshua’s death, Israel found itself without a central leader. The Promised Land had not yet been fully conquered, and the question arose: Who will lead us now? In what seems to be a hopeful beginning, the people seek the Lord for direction. God appoints the tribe of Judah to lead the charge against the Canaanites. Partnering with Simeon, Judah goes into battle and achieves a stunning victory—ten thousand men defeated at Bezek. But then, t...

use your Talents

Image
USE YOUR TALENTS God has given all of us talents, but what should we use it for or use it at all and is it really inborn in us?  That and more we are going to learn about today.   God gave us all gifts or you could call them talents, talents like sculpting, carving, painting, crafting, writing, etc, some people don't use their talent or use it for the wrong reasons, the right reason is to spread the good news and glorify God.    You also need to use your gifts to help others and for God. If you don't use your gift the world might never see it, so you should sharpen and use your talents or gifts. 1 Peter 4 vs 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.   Now first you need to sharpen your talents. God plants a seed in you and you need to grow it like James says faith and works should go hand in hand. James 2 vs 14 – 26.  James points out that a man is...

Ants in the Bible

Image
Ants in the Bible Ants might be small but they can attack and lift things much bigger and greater than themselves. Did you know that the ant queen is not a queen?  We are going to learn about all these things and about how some other things as well.   First, let's look at Proverbs 6:6-9   Proverbs 6:6-9  Go to the ant, O sluggard, observe her ways, and be wise, which, having no chief, officer, or ruler, prepares her food in the summer and gathers her provision in the harvest. how long will you lie down, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? You might think hey ants have queens why is Solman saying that the ants have no rulers' The queen is their mother, not the queen, sometimes the ants even make the queen go somewhere. so, The Bible is always right.   God gives us free will, God is not controlling our every move like NPCs ( non-player characters).  W e can control our actions sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad, so you can contr...

The Power Of The Tongue

Image
The power of the tongue  Words are powerful they can make or break relationships they can make our body decay and make us have higher chances of death! And words are even more powerful than words!? words can change the world! And all words come from the tongue so the tongue is very powerful!   this is why James makes it clear to us the power of the tongue in James 3:5-6 James 3:5-6 NLV The tongue is also a small part of the body, but it can speak big things. See how a very small fire can set many trees on fire. The tongue is a fire. it is full of wrong. It poisons the whole body. The tongue sets our whole lives on fire with a fire that comes from hell. How the tongue is like a fire James compares the tongue with a fire! Your tongue is so small but let’s take your arm it’s so strong the average 20-29-year-old man’s arm can hold 230 phones! Your tongue can't even lift your toy truck but it can hurt you and others, for example, if you say hundreds of b...
